Computer Society of India (CSI) the largest industry association for Information Technology (IT) announced the winners for 'CSI 2011 Awards for Excellence in IT'. The winners were felicitated during 46th Annual National Convention of Computer Society of India 2011 at Ahmedabad Management Association. The awards were presented by the Chief Guest Mr. R. Chandrashekhar, Chairman Telecom Commission and Special Secretary DIT, DOT and GOI. CSI Awards for Excellence in IT are instituted to acknowledge and motivate individuals and organizations working in the field.
The CSI 2011 Awards for Excellence in IT were presented in six categories
1. Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI)
2. Product Manufacturing
3. Travel, Tourism & Hospitality
4. Gaming & Entertainment
5. Human Resource Development through Education
6. Food and Beverage, Retail & Consumer Goods
