Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) - the only 2Wheeler company of Honda in India has today further fortified its presence in the premium 150cc segment with the launch of its new performance motorcycle – CB Trigger in Karnataka.

 CB Trigger with new technology promises a perfect mix of best in class features for “Style” and fuel efficiency for daily commuting.

 Background

The 150cc – 180cc motorcycle segment contributes approximately 10% to Indian 2Wheeler industry. HMSI has been meeting varied customer demand in this segment with its CB Unicorn for mature commuters and the premium CBR 150R for riders who desired a global motorcycling experience.

 Within 150-180cc motorcycle commuter segment, young Indian riders aged between 18-24 years aspire for a new 150cc motorcycle offering from Honda.  Their expectation from Honda is to create a 150cc masculine & aggressive styled motorcycle that can trigger the fun of riding while being perfect for daily commuting. Thus came CB Trigger – Honda’s ultimate answer with latest technology. Get ready to “Untame Yourself”.



Masculine & Aggressive Design

Chiseled to perfection, the CB Trigger comes with a distinguishing contoured tank with unique 3D Honda emblem, floating side cowls and arrow shaped trendy side panel which contribute to the aggressive looks. Muscle lines in the side panel and all black sporty muffler too emphasize the muscular character of the bike.



Upping the style quotient of CB Trigger is the stylish all black alloy wheels and trendy fully digital advanced instrument panel.



Completing the picture of aggressive looks at the front are the aggressive front head light with air scoops on the visor and the stylish panel on head front stance. Charming all onlookers, the magnificent LED tail light brings loads of attitude to the rear of the bike.



Advanced Technology

CB Trigger comes loaded with Combi Brake System - a segment first feature. CBS is an easy to operate feature that reduces braking distance by 32% compared to conventional braking. The high quality mono suspension ensures mass centralization leading to better stability and riding confidence even in the sharpest of road turns.



Best combination of Performance & Mileage

The proven 150cc air-cooled 4-stroke Spark ignition engine of CB Trigger produces a delightful throbbing feel in the low to mid speed ranges together with increased output in high speed range. All this, while ensuring the best-in-class Mileage of 60kmpl (Mileage based on internal Honda test ride mode that is close to actual city riding conditions).



The motorcycle delivers superb acceleration and leaves other bikes in the same category far behind with its quick pick-up. Adding fun into ride is excellent peak power of 10.3 Kw @ 8500 rpm (approx. 14 BHP) and a resounding peak torque of 12.5 Nm @ 6500 rpm.

CB Trigger’s upright sitting position and comfortable wide seat is designed for maximizing rider comfort during both short city commute and long distance touring. Providing abundance of comfort even in dense city traffic is full gear lever and kick start feature. The full chain case is suitable for variable road conditions while the lightweight and flexible diamond frame offers easy handling and steady control as sports model.



High on Comfort & Convenience

Taking comfort and convenience to unmatched levels are the 240mm front and 220mm rear dual disc brakes (which enhance braking efficiency and rider safety), wide tubeless tyres, maintenance free battery and viscous air filter.

CB Trigger will come in three stunning colors- Meteor Green Metallic, Pearl Siena Red and Black.
