Kingfisher Strong, India’s iconic beer brand, known for its deep rooted connection with Indian music is all set to launch the country’s first and biggest online musical series - Kingfisher Strong Backstage in partnership with the online portal Fridaymoviez.com. A novel musical series for promising artists, Kingfisher Strong Backstage aims to create an exceptional journey through the heart and soul of Indian music using the digital medium by providing them with an opportunity to showcase their talent.
Kingfisher Strong Backstage, which marks its debut on June 12th 2013, aims at unearthing new talent whilst bringing out a series of new and original compositions by artists from across the country. Teasers of the property have already been uploaded on Kingfisher’s Facebook page, website, YouTube channel and exclusively on Fridaymoviez.com. The teasers which went live last week, have garnered great response from Kingfisher fans and social media users alike.
A video performance by an artist will be showcased every week and users will get a chance to vote for their favorite ‘Artist of the Month’ on Kingfisher’s various social media platforms, in turn making way for the democratization of Indian music. The initiative will see ‘webisodes’ becoming a reality providing a direct user to user experience. Digital users will also get an opportunity to become a part of the talent pool that will be showcased on Kingfisher Strong Backstage.
