National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) today kick-started the fifth edition of its annual EmergeOut Conclave Surge 2013 in Chennai to discuss and debate the changing technology landscape, the opportunities that lie ahead and how do emerging companies stay ahead. This year the theme of the conclave was focused on "Consumerization of IT - The SMAC Edge" driving discussions on the impact of emerging trends such as Social Media, Mobility, Big Data, Analytics and Cloud (SMAC). The conclave was organized in association with the Government of Tamil Nadu and and attended by 200 participants from over 150 startup and emerge companies
The conclave provided a platform to companies from the product, mobility, services space to exchange ideas and discuss innovative solutions enabling their businesses to respond faster and more creatively to market challenges and opportunities. The sessions discussed the impact of emerging trends such as Social Media, Mobility, Big Data and Analytics and the Cloud is transforming the way IT is being used and information is consumed in Enterprises.
