After having played to diverse audiences in the Middle East, the band, comprising members from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, is now set to explore APAC region. Amongst the list of countries lined up, the first pit stop happens to INDIA. Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and New York follow later in the year.
What makes this INDIA TOUR even more special is that it features RON “BUMBLEFOOT” THAL the iconic guitar virtuoso who currently handles LEAD GUITAR duties for the legendary rock band GUNS N ROSES. RON “BUMBLEFOOT” THAL would also be showcasing some of his own music on this tour, a few GNR anthems and would be jamming songs from his solo albums like NORMAL & ABNORMAL. “BUMBLEFOOT” has also officially endorsed their debut album “REVOLUTIONIZE THE REVOLUTIONARY” and joins POINT OF VIEW tour to experience the underground scene in India.
POINT OF VIEW is also tied in with THE WILDLIFE TRUST OF INDIA to raise awareness about issues with regards to Wild Life Conservation as Animal Welfare is close to their hearts. Major proceeds from all their Music Sales worldwide are diverted to Animal Welfare. A Guitar signed by the band will be up for auction with monies going towards animal welfare in India.
POINT OF VIEW recently won the TIMEOUT AWARD for BEST BAND IN DUBAI and is also well known on the UAE rock circuit as a band that has been around for 5 years and with a huge kitty of credible gigs. The band sets out on this tour to promote their debut album: REVOLUTIONIZE THE REVOLUTIONARY which is available for download on Artistaloud.com and OKlisten.com amongst others.
The tour also features special guests who join POINT OF VIEW & BUMBLEFOOT on stage for an impromptu jam. The extremely talented and witty Bruce Lee Mani, lead guitarist and vocalist of Thermal and a Quarter will be joining POINT OF VIEW & BUMBLEFOOT on stage, at the BANGALORE leg of the tour.The super talented guitar player & founder member of the rock band ZERO & current front man of BLACKSTRAT BLUES, Mr. Warren Mendonsa would also be joining POINT OF VIEW & BUMBLEFOOT on stage on the MUMBAI leg along with 2Blu from Zedde. Good friends and talented musicians, PARIKRAMA, would be joining POINT OF VIEW & BUMBLEFOOT on the DELHI leg. Also joining them on the Delhi leg would be good friend Surojit Dev from Themclones with Adil & Vasundhara. And finally, known as the Guitar God of Calcutta, Vikramjit Tuki Bannerjee of KROSSWINDZ would be jamming on stage with POINT OF VIEW and BUMBLEFOOT at the CALCUTTA leg of the tour.
Other than tying up with Hard Rock Café for their outlets in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore & Hyderabad, POINT OF VIEW & RON BUMBLEFOOT THAL also headline THE FESTIVAL in Calcutta organized by E365 Events alongside Hacride (Paris) & Nothnegal (Maldives). The Tour also features special guests and friends who would join POINT OF VIEW & RON onstage for impromptu jams.
