Ajay brings more than 21 years of hands-on experience in Product Development, Project Management and quality delivery of it to Perpetuuiti. Previously, he has served as a Senior Director – Engineering, Netbackup Product, Information Management Group at Symantec Software, where he was managing the NetBackup engineering team in India and directly accountable for and held complete global responsibility of entire NetBackup UI, Backup Search functionality and Bare Metal Restore capabilities.
Wani has a Masters in Computer Science and was previously associated with companies like OMC Computers and Tektronics India. While at Symantec, he has delivered multiple key note speeches globally addressing hundreds of customers and partners as part of various NetBackup product releases. He has multiple patents to his credit, specifically ‘Single scan for a base machine and all associated virtual machines’ (US Patent 7,802,302 awarded in 2010), ‘SAN simulator’ (US Patent 7,774,444 awarded in 2010) and ‘Backup of virtual machines from the base machine’ (US Patent 7,370,164 awarded in 2008).
