IT services and Solutions Company ITC Infotech has been conferred an award by the European Outsourcing Association in recognition of its long term engagement with Danske Bank. The company was presented an Award in the category of Outsourcing Works – Award for Delivering Business Value in European Outsourcing.
ITC Infotech got this award for its engagement with Danske Bank. After working closely since 2006 to transform Danske Bank’s IT infrastructure, ITC Infotech now works as a virtual extension of the bank’s IT division. The company supports the Bank’s business across Northern Europe, and is serviced by experienced ITC Infotech specialists.
Through its association with ITC Infotech, the bank has benefited across several fronts including faster time-to-market for new products, a broader range of technical competencies, and minimised knowledge risk. ITC Infotech’s customised delivery model has also delivered significant savings in costs for Danske Bank.
Jens Klæbel, Senior Vice President - Danske Bank’s IT department, said, “With ITC Infotech as our IT partner, we are now able to introduce new products & enhancements faster, which aligns well with our overall strategy of serving our customers in an efficient way. Over time, we have created a robust extension of our IT department, which is providing services for our operations across Europe. ITC Infotech’s flexible approach and tailored engagement model for Danske Bank has helped create a shared strategic vision for the future and our partnership approach is working very well.”
Prashant Gupta, Vice President – Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI), ITC Infotech said: “The financial sector is confronted with challenges of updating decades of legacy IT systems. In this regard Danske Bank has shown steadfast commitment towards creating a leaner, more efficient business framework. With Danske Bank, we have created a truly collaborative model, consistently delivering value. We are happy to have been recognised by the EOA for our work with Danske Bank.”
The EOA Awards, now in its fifth year, recognise and commend the efforts of companies and individuals who have demonstrated best-practices in outsourcing. The 2014 awards saw a record number of entrants, constituting suppliers, end-users and service providers from across Europe.
