Government School on the outskirts of #Bangalore gets Modern Auditorium

Round Table India and Ladies Circle India, in association with Timken Foundation, inaugurated a state-of-the-art auditorium at the Government Model Primary School in Hebbagodi, on the outskirts of Bangalore. The initiative to construct this advanced facility was taken to provide a platform for students to learn and practice Performing Arts while promoting their importance.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr.Christopher Arvinth, President of Round Table India, said, “Art is a medium which is not given enough attention like other disciplines which are considered to be the sole subjects of learning. However, art is a sphere where creativity is fundamental, and is essential for all pupils along with the curriculum for a holistic growth. Thus, the auditorium is an effort to promote art among students for their comprehensive learning.”

Adding to this, Mr. Sanjay Koul,Chairman and Managing Director, of Timken India Limited, said, “Unfortunately, not many schools have access to amenities like auditoriums to tap the potential of students. Our hope is that this auditorium is used to its optimum level to bring out the best in the students and to promote art as a necessary part of the curriculum.”
