CIOs Bat for Charity at SAP F15 Invitational Cricket Cup


SAP India recently conducted NCR Edition of the annual SAP Invitational F15 Invitational Cricket Cup 2012, a tournament played as a means to bring together the SAP India ecosystem of customers for friendly competition on the cricket fields. Kicked off on 18th Feb, 2012, the tournament witnessed a stiff competition between 12 teams representing most illustrious companies vied for the top title in region.

 As a part of the event, SAP India along with the customers announced a grant of Rs. 120 thousand to Mobile Creches, an NGO working towards restoring the rights of the young child by providing the working mother with child care support through an integrated programme. Having provided Child Care services to more than 7,50,000 children, Mobile Creches is one of the few organizations that have been pioneering the cause of Early Child Care and development (ECCD).

“Ensuring early child care and development of children of economically deprived people helps towards building a strong foundation and strengthening the community at large”, said Alok Goyal, Chief Operating Officer, SAP India. “This tournament is a way to demonstrate our commitment and extending our support to the people in need,” he added.
