The story is set in the mystical land of Gaya where two prophecies bind the fate of men and empires alike which speak of the birth of ‘The Destroyer’ born from the royal seed in ‘The Land Of The Setting Sun’. ‘The One’ who shall bring the empires of man come crashing down or so it was foretold. In between the Destroyer and the world stand the Seven Guardians of Gaya, guarding the realm of man. A king, a father, defies the Seven and fate itself to save the last drop of his blood and prince Agni grows in the Land of Rising Sun, exiled from his own people, unaware of his past. Losing the woman he loved most to the shadows in the dark, Agni is thrown into a whirlpool of events that he neither knows, nor understands. Agni’s quest for vengeance brings him to the doorstep of a secret that will shatter the very foundation of the beliefs of a world. The secrets of the dark are sometimes so terrible that they are better left unsaid. What the future holds, only time can tell…
The book is written in a simple and lucid language. Arka in his debut novel shows enormous capacity to build the crescendo of suspense which ultimately ends in a gripping climax.

The book is, incidentally Part 1 of the Saga. Arka is already working on the Part 2 of the series which would be published later this year.

Arka did his B.COM with Accountancy (Hons.) from Heramba Chandra College in 2009 and have worked as a junior Accountant with Bristol Pvt. Ltd. (JKB Gas). He has Studied for govt.
