According to company sources, they may spend around ₹100 crore to renovate the properties they have in Kolkata. Meanwhile, Peerless Group has planned to develop a 15-storey retail commercial residential real estate project named as "Trium". It is reported that it will be done in collaboration with a company in Thailand. It will be built on about 6.4 lakh sq.ft. in Action Area II, Rajarhat. The cost of this project will be around ₹600 crore.
Along with this, Peerless Group has also decided to increase the hospital beds capacity. It has planned to increase from 500 to 670 beds. Oncology block will also be done here. About ₹400 crore can be spent there. Out of this, ₹75 crore has already been spent so far. The group has acquired the 100-bed SKM Hospital near Barasat.
Talking to the media after the 91st annual general meeting of Peerless Group held on Wednesday, the managing director Jayanta Roy said after the completion of the cancer hospital, the in-patient strength of the hospital will see a substantial increase.
