Dr M Narendra, Chairman and Managing Director, Indian Overseas Bank speaking on the occasion stated that Bank is focused on MSME and Priority Sector Advances. He stated that this is the only way by which bank can support the growth of GDP of the country and bring back higher GDP growth. He mentioned that Bank is always surpassing the mandatory Priority Sector Lending targets year after year. It is only the innovativeness and courage of Youngsters like Mr Suhas Gopinath that will bring prosperity to the country.
Indian Overseas Bank solidly supports all such ventures from the Youth of the country. He mentioned that the bank has lent to the Self-Help Groups, especially Women group where the recovery is almost 100%. This 100 Days Mission is launched to focus on Customer Service, Retail Loan Products and to bring in younger customers to the bank. On this occasion Shri Suhas Gopinath, Youngest CEO of the World, was the Chief Guest. He expressed that Indian Overseas Bank is an extended family for him due to the excellent service and facilities extended to him and also young and budding entrepreneurs to set up their ventures. The loan sanction letters relating to Housing Loans, Educational Loans, Vehicle Loans and Agri Green House Loans were handed over to the customers on this occasion by Bank’s Chairman and Managing Director and also by Mr Suhas Gopinath.
While welcoming the gathering Shri K Anil, Chief Regional Manager outlined the various Schemes and Initiatives of the Bank during its 100 Days Mission Campaign. He also explained to the customers the various value additions like waiver of Processing Charges, Pre-Payment Penalty on Pre-Payment of Loans, very fast sanctions and disbursal of the loan facilities. He appealed to the customers to encourage the bank and to support Bank’s Customer Outreach Programmes.
Chairman and Managing Director of the Bank announced on the occasion that Bangalore Region is the No 1 Region amongst all the 59 Regions of the Bank in respect of disbursement of Retail Credit.
Shri C S Vasantha Kumar, General Manager of the Bank’s National Banking Group appealed to the customers to support the Bank in its various pro-customer initiatives and assured all help from the Bank for customers’ endeavours.
Landlords of the premises of the Bangalore City Branch of the Bank Shri Chandrashekar, Shri Nataraj and their family members were honoured by the Bank on this occasion.
