AAP's Rachna Dhingra is pitted against BJP patriarch L K Advani in Bhopal
Former Union Carbide employee-turned social activist who works for the survivors of the Bhopal gas tragedy will contest the Lok Sabha election from Bhopal as an Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate.
Rachna graduated with a business degree from University of Michigan in 2000 and was volunteering with a student group on justice for Bhopal gas tragedy survivors. Inspired by this, she quit her job and came back to stay and work with gas tragedy victims and survivors' families in Bhopal in 2003. She has been working full-time for 'Justice for Bhopal' movement since.
Of late L.K.Advani has agreed to contest the Lok Sabha elections once again from Gandhinagar in Gujarat and not from Bhopal in MP as reported earlier.
