Chutta nahi hai’ will no longer be an excuse for people to not give or take money, neither will be a scenario where your pockets are heavy with the burden of cash, cards or loose change. Now the time is near where you can lighten your pockets and enlighten yourself with Citrus’ 2014’s most exciting consumer product launches in India- the ‘Citrus Cash’ App.

With this app whether you have to make payments to the value of Re. 1 or if you are splitting a bill with friends on an outing, Citrus Pay’s new service is all set to make this as easy as simply pressing a button.
The idea:
There are numerous scenarios in our everyday lives where the lack of small change/ small amount of cash leads to unnecessary heartburn. Plus the pain of carrying all those notes and coins in a wallet is a burden too! That’s where the idea for this app germinated for Citrus Pay. To design an app which would make everybody’s life from a student’s to a canteen walah much simpler.
Another aspect was that since, by 30th March, using pre-2005 notes including Rs. 500 and 1000 can become a hassle and such a thing may again happen in the future when other notes go out of circulation. This app will enable the user to transfer money to friends, colleagues, and family members in just a few seconds. Amounts can be from as little as Re.1 to up to Rs. 10, 000.
App’s Functionality:
