Corporation Bank Housing & Vehicle loan Expo at St. Joseph's Indian High School grounds in Bangalore

Corporation Bank has organized Housing & Vehicle loan Expo at St. Joseph's Indian High School grounds, Bangalore.Bank Chairman & Managing Director Shri S R Bansal inagurated the event. Mrs. Swathi  S M,  Circle  General  Manager  of   Karnataka  welcomed all the public and thanked the reputed builders for enabling the Bank to organize this mega Expo at a short notice. Both the Zonal Heads Shri N Vijaya Kumar and Shri  A K Vinod were present during the event.  Also present were Shri A Suryaprakash, DGM and Dr Raveesh, Zonal Marketing Manager.

The Bank has crossed a major milestone by surpassing business of Rs.3 lakh crore and entered the league of Big Banks. As on December 2013, the total business increased on year-on-year basis by 23% to Rs.301,375 crore, whereas deposits increased by 26.68% to Rs.177,845 crore and advances increased by 18.28% to Rs.123,530 crore. The Bank’s network has spread across 7701 functional Units spread across 25 States and 3 Union territories comprising of 1830 Branches, 1945 ATMs & 3926 Branchless Banking Units as at 31.12.2013.The Bank has two representative offices at Dubai & Hong Kong. By Founders day, i.e., on 12th March 2014, the Bank is optimistic to cross 2009 branches.

Corporation Bank’s Chairman & Managing Director Shri S R Bansal , recently received the  Award of First Rank based on outstanding performance in MSE lending and Second Rank based on excellent performance in lending to micro enterprises for the financial year 2012-13 from the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India.

Shri S R Bansal, Chairman & Managing Director of the Bank while interacting with the participants in the Housing and Vehicle Loan Expo highlighted the performance of the Bank and informed that such Expos to be held throughout the Nation to enable the builders / dealers to showcase their upcoming projects / offers to the public at large which will be a single point selling for the Bank and Builders/Dealers.
