Shri Shakti Educational Society celebrates 20 years in hotel management education
The Shri Shakti Educational Society, which runs two premier Hotel Management colleges in the city - Institute of Hotel Management -Shri Shakti (Affiliated to NCHMCT, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India) and Shri Shakti College of Hotel Management (Affiliated to Osmania University) celebrated its 20th Annual day with great fervor and elation, on Saturday at its premises at Begumpet.  Hon’ble Dr Chiranjeevi, Union Minister of State for Tourism, Government of India  and Tollywood Mega Star who was the Chief Guest originally on the joyous occasion could not join due to election code of conduct announced a couple of days ago.  However he deputed his younger brother and popular hero Mr Naga Babu in his place. Smt. Ranjana Kumar, Central Vigilance Commissioner (Retd), Central Vigilance Commission, Government of India was the Guest of Honour.

The students made a special effort to make the occasion memorable by showcasing an innovative display of food, flowers and beverages. The colourful cultural program presented by the students presented India’s diverse culture and was the highlight of the event, this impressed the guests and enthralled the students. Academic and Culinary high achiever students were awarded and felicitated on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion Sri Naga Babu advised the students to make learning a continuous process throughout the life time, learning doesn’t end with acquiring a professional qualification, he said. The day we stop learning, others will over take us and we will lag behind. He said one should have a goal in career and life, should strive to accomplish that and keep revising the goal as we go forward to reach greater heights. He released the college Magazine Vibgyor and Felicitated the rankers on the occasion.
