Sir M. Visvesvaraya founded Century Club organised several programmes as part of its centenary celebrations.It includeed a fashion show depicting the royal dynasty, pancha veena recital and dances, planting of 100 saplings in the club and in Cubbon Park.

The club has 6,300 members, including 2,000 women as well.According to club sources nearly 3,200 applicants on the waiting list for 20-25 years. Some of its eminent members include Professor U R Rao, actors Ambareesh and Bharati Vishnuvardhan, Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble and Prakash Padukone among others.The Mysuru royal family members including the new Maharaja Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar are patron members of the club.
