Symphony Services, the global leader in product engineering outsourcing services, today announced that Gartner’s MarketScope for Telecom Expense Management gave Symphony its highest possible rating, “Strong Positive,” as customer demand continues to rise for Symphony’s licensed and managed services and processes.

Symphony is appearing with greater frequency on the shortlists for large TEM opportunities and is an appropriate choice for all TEM solutions. In 2008, Symphony increased the number of mobility assets under management more than 300 percent, from fewer than 45,000 to over 186,000. Symphony has also extended its TEM offerings to include integrated, remote infrastructure management software and services, all serviced from Symphony’s state-of-the-art data center that has been certified as compliant with SAS 70 Type II, with Six Sigma Black Belts and Green Belts on staff.

The Gartner MarketScope provides guidance for all Gartner customers, regardless of the size of their telecommunications budgets. Gartner’s definition for telecom expense management “encompasses the business processes conducted by IT and finance departments to acquire, provision and support corporate communications services.” In the report Gartner rated market solutions ranging from software suites (tools) and Software as a Service (SaaS) for self-management and outsourcing of specific tasks to third-party service providers.

Symphony’s strong TEM capabilities are recognized at a time when companies worldwide continue to adopt telecom expense management solutions to expand mobile management capabilities while dramatically reducing expenses. Symphony has addressed evolving customer needs head-on allowing customers to:
· Reduce customer service costs
· Drive cost reductions from invoice auditing and better asset management
· Realize greater visibility of costs based on allocation capabilities
