Blue Star expands its range of #water purifiers

Speaking at the unveiling of Rigenera Activa, Dr. Bani Anand, Founder and Director, Hairline International Hair and Skin Clinic says, “This is a standalone procedure and can be used for treating hair loss up to Grade 4. For skin, the process of injecting takes about 20 minutes and the recovery time is around half hour, making it an ideal procedure. Blue Star launches 100 new #airconditioners for this summer

Bengaluru: Air-conditioning and commercial refrigeration major Blue Star has launched 100 new air conditioners. It has rolled out 40 new models of highly energy-efficient 3-star and 5-star inverter split air conditioners



The company claims that this new range ofenergy-efficient models promises up to 30 per cent extra cooling power resulting in better cooling, faster temperature pulldown and energy savings for consumers.

The room air conditioners market in India grew by 10 per cent in the period between January and December 2017, whereas Blue Star registered a growth rate of around 15 per cent. There are strong indications of a severe summer and the market is expected to further grow driven by a rise in demand.

Speaking to the Press at a conference held at Bengaluru, B Thiagarajan, Joint Managing Director, Blue Star Limited said, “The room air conditioners market in India grew by 10% in the period between January and December 2017, whereas Blue Star registered a growth of around 15%. There are strong indications of a severe summer and the market is expected to further grow driven by a rise in demand. We have consistently outperformed the market growth rate and year-after-year since 2011,the Company hasgained significant market share. Blue Star is now introducing a few innovative models which deliver 30% Extra Cooling Power, faster temperature pull-down and extra energy savings apart from precise temperature setting in steps of 0.1°C and 0.5°C. We are optimistic about the future prospects and once again expect to outperform the market and achieve a market share of 12.5% in FY19.”

Blue Star, which turns 75 this year, forayed into the residential segment in 2011 and has since, grown from strength to strength, year-after-year by outperforming the industry. Currently, it enjoys a market share of 11.5%.

Vu launches @Google Certified 'Official #AndroidTV ' Series in India, Price Starts at Rs. 36,999 on @Flipkart

Bengaluru: Three models have been launched – 55-inch (55SU138), 49-inch (49SU131), and 43-inch (43SU128). Vu’s new Android TV series runs Android 7.0 Smart OS, and has built-in Google apps including the Google Play store, apart from YouTube and Netflix. Other preloaded apps include Hotstar, Facebook Video, Sony Liv, and ALT Balaji. All three models also come with ActiVoice voice-control enabled remote controllers which let users search, browse, and select in 88 languages, the company claims. It also offers built-in Chromecast features.



The TV will be available for sale via Vu’s exclusive online distribution partner Flipkart.com, Vu’s flagship stores and major retail outlets starting 14th March, 2018.

'The Vu Official Android TV is built with the highest quality of hardware and software and we are expecting to ship out one million TVs this fiscal', said Devita Saraf, CEO and Founder, Vu Technologies at the launch press meet in Bengaluru today.

While talking about Xiaomi's recent foray into the Indian television market she said "Xiaomi is a low end brand. They'll take market share from other low end brands like Micromax and others. We compete with brands like Sony.

After #Vadodara @XylemInc opens India Technology and Customer Experience Centre in #Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Xylem India Technology Centre in Bengaluru was inaugurated by Mahendra Jain, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Urban Development Department, Govt of Karnataka and Patrick Decker, President and CEO of Xylem.
The centre in Bengaluru will develop products and solutions with a focus on developing software and advanced infrastructure analytics. The centre will ultimately have over 400 engineers creating smart, innovative solutions to treat, analyse, monitor and return water to the environment, and to address critical energy resource infrastructure needs.

The 'Brew and Barbeque' celebrated the launch of its pub's expansion in Benaluru recently.
The luxurious pub Brew and Barbeque spread across 22,000 sq ft is located at the up-market Soul Space Arena Mall at Outer Ring Road, Marathahalli at the heart of  Bengaluru IT belt. The theme of pub has been inspired by the bars in Texas, designed to allow customers a first–hand opportunity to experience high quality dining and a large variety of exotic drinks.

.@sula_vineyards launches new #wine Kādu; pledges to contribute for #tiger conservation in Karnataka

Kādu was launched by Rajeev Samant, Founder and CEO, Sula Vineyards in Bengaluru yesterday. In a bid to mark the grand occasion, Rajeev presented the first Kādu cheque of Rs.5 lakh to Sanctuary Nature Foundation. Mud on Boots project leader Nagaraj will spearhead the project.
Speaking of the launch, Rajeev Samant, Founder and CEO, Sula Vineyards, stated, “The Kādu wines are the most significant launch for Sula in the past 10 years. Kādu is our first wholly ‘Made in Karnataka’ wine and we thought it was also the perfect occasion to give something back to a cause we hold very dear – that of wildlife conservation. Bengaluru : Hyderabad-based Shreya Broadcasting, which owns and operates Telugu news channel TV5 News has launched a New Kannda News Channel named TV5 Kannada on Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary, October 2nd.

TV5's foray into Karnataka came after a decade long successful run in Andhra Pradesh since its launch in 2007. TV5 Telugu has apparently been among the top two news channels of the region. TV5 is also the only Telugu news channel available in the USA on the Dish Network.

Karnataka News market is already overcrowded with 10+ lisenced news channels and dozens of local/cable news channels. But only 4 channels are able to pop up in TRP Chart.  TV9 Kannada continues to be market leader followed by Public TV. Suvarna News and ETV Kannada is trying hard to gain the third position in Karnataka.
