Posedge Inc, a leading supplier of Wired/Wireless Secure Networking and Memory Intellectual Property solutions announces the availability of its upgraded PE-SD3.01/SDIO3.0/eMMC4.5 Combo Device Controller IP.


The fully JEDEC compliant SD3.01/SDIO3.0/eMMC4.5 Combo Device Controller IP is highly configurable and completely compatible with all SD3.01/SDIO3.0 and eMMC4.5 protocols including ASSD2 (Advance Secure SD), eSD2.1 (Embedded SD) along with standard boot and alternate boot modes of operation. The IP Core supports a maximum capacity of 2-Tera Byte and bandwidth up to 104 MB/sec in SD mode and is fully UHS-1 compliant. In eMMC mode it can operate up to 200MB/sec transfer rates with lowest gate count in the industry based on Posedge’s technology expertise in high speed communications and memory.

POSEDGE announces Multi-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch IP with IEEE 1588 & Audio/visu​al (AV) bridging Support

PosedgeInc, a leading supplier of Wired/Wireless Secure Networking Semiconductor Intellectual Property solutions provider has today announced the availability of next generation Multi-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch Sub-System IP to integrate to ASICs and FPGAs.

The Multi-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch Sub-System IP is based on Wire-speed Secure Packet Processor (WSP) architecture that is scalable from 2-port 10/100 Mbps Switch to 8-Port 10/100/1000 Mbps Switch.

The field proven L2+ Switch from Posedge is enhanced to the next level to support the new features such as:
IEEE-1588 Support for time stamping
A/V Bridging
EEE Support for Gigabit Ethernet
Priority based Flow Control
Enhanced VLAN Support
The firmware is also enhanced to support L3 Extensions, Advanced Filtering, Snooping, and enhanced API for additional programming and configuration. Similar to the previous version, the Software is backed by a tool chain capable of Multi-Core debug and validation.
