CA, Inc. (NASDAQ: CA) today announced the appointment of Arun Balasubramanian as Director Sales of CA Technologies, South India & Sri Lanka.
Based out of the CA sales office in Bangalore , Arun will be responsible to drive CA’s business in South India and Sri Lanka .
CA’s Managing Director for India & SAARC, Amit Chatterjee said: “We are excited to have Arun on board. We look forward to Arun leading our South business to accelerated growth, given his solid track record in this market.”
Prior to this role, Arun was regional head of sales for HP Software. He was responsible for driving exponential sales growth during his tenure as software lead for five years. During his twelve year career with HP, he has very successful track record in various sales roles starting from managing large global customers to driving and formulating strategy for SMB business.
Arun said: “I am excited by the opportunity to work towards strengthening CA’s sales growth in a market as exciting and dynamic as India .”
Arun is a university rank holder during his graduation as BE (Computes) and holds executive management degree from XLRI, Jamshedpur .
