Having qualified to the audition rounds of I AM She 2011, forty gorgeous girls from across India have begun their endeavour for that pinnacle of glory - the prestigious I AM She 2011 crown. These forty hopefuls were selected from almost 1800 plus entries received from across India. Supporting them throughout the day will be the first ever title holder of I AM She 2010, Ms Ushoshi Sengupta as well as 1st runner up Reha Sukheja and 2nd runner up Pooja Hegde.
Now in its second year, I AM She 2011 transcends to an even greater level. Whilst Ms Sushmita Sen will once again be the “Mentor”, it will be young and successful celebrity judges, including, Ms. Aditi Gowitrikar, Mr. Jackky Bhagnani and Mr. Joy Datta, who will handpick the twenty finalists to grace the stage at the finale of I AM She 2011, to be held a mere five weeks from now. The selection panel will evaluate the girls on criteria ranging from intelligence, talent, confidence and general knowledge to beauty, grace and charm. Needless to add, it will be the twenty who display that inherent elegance and chutzpah that will catch the panels’ attention.
The results will be officially tabulated by Stany Saldanha & Associates, a firm of Chartered Accountants started in 1991 by Mr. Stany Saldanha. The company is in the business of Audits, Taxation, Corporate Services, Business & Management & Consultancy Services, etc. for various corporates, individuals and other business organizations, particularly in the Media and Entertainment sector.

The winners of I AM She 2011 will support the I AM Foundation - the CSR vertical of I AM. The Pageant hopes to inspire the youth towards social issues such as child adoption, child education, women empowerment etc. For this purpose I AM Foundation will be tying up with NGO’s who support these causes. The finalists of I AM She will be working closely with these organizations and will be given targets to achieve for each of these causes as part of their social responsibility endeavours in the year ahead.
