Department of Information Technology, Bio-Technology and Science & Technology, Government of Karnataka, Vision Group on Biotechnology and MM Activ Sci-Tech Communications today announced that Bangalore INDIA BIO (BIB) 2012 will be held from 6-8 February, 2012 at The Lalit Ashok, Bangalore.
The announcement was made today by Shri. Jagdish Patankar - Managing Director, MM Activ Sci-Tech Communications in the presence of Dr. Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Chairperson, Karnataka’s Vision Group on Biotechnology & CMD-Biocon Ltd., Prof. H. Sharat Chandra, Chairman - Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology (IBAB), Director - Centre for Human Genetics, Emeritus Professor, Indian Institute of Science and Honorary Professor at the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, Dr. Vijay Chandru, President, ABLE & CEO Strand Life Sciences and Shri. Chakravathi Mohan, IAS, Director Dept. of IT & BT and MD - KBITS. The panel also provided an overview of the spectrum of activities planned during Bangalore INDIA BIO 2012 Conference & Exhibition.

The previous edition of the event had 21 Multi-Track Sessions addressed by 112 Speakers and was attended by 764 Delegates representing 22 countries.
