The auction will comprise of 138 lots with estimates starting from Rs. 15,000/- (USD 283 approx) and going up to Rs. 75,00,000/- (USD 141,510 approx).
The catalogue has an unusual selection of jewellery such as a 'neck to navel' necklace, a 'Hansali' of very fine workmanship, broaches of European style that had been crafted by Indian craftsman in the 1930's, traditional Rajasthani, Gujarati & south-Indian period jewellery worn by the royalties and other collectors’ items made of precious gem stones and studded with diamonds, emeralds, pearls, rubies and gold. There are works by the famed ‘Faberge Jewellers’ as well. The silver & silver plated section has objects such as Paandaan's, Miniature Toys, Jewellery Boxes and Rose Water Sprinklers, amongst a host of others, that have all been hand crafted in the best traditional depictions of Indian mythological subjects, along with foliate & fauna that are all hand chiseled and engraved with the finest perfection.
The colonial furniture section has utility-based items such as solid rosewood and teakwood hand carved sideboards, front desks, sofa's, tables, cabinets and mirrors.
