Today, India is one of the Company’s key locations where the spectrum of activities includes material sourcing, manufacturing, QC testing, packaging, distribution and GSS. The GSS Center, situated in Bangalore, spans 45,000 sq. ft. and is fully operational. The opening of the new GSS facility closely follows the recent celebration of Sigma-Aldrich’s 20 year anniversary conducting business in India and is yet another recent example of the Company’s continued investment in talent and commitment to the Asia Pacific region.
