MAAC successfully concluded Jumbo Job Fair 2013
Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC), a leader in 3D Animation and VFX training conducted a Job fair on April 20, 2013 at its Koramangala centre in Bangalore. It was open to freshers and candidates with 1 – 8 years of work experience and willing to get into digital media, free of cost.

The day long job fair was inaugurated by M. Shajan Samuel, Sr. Vice President, MAAC.

Over 250 plus students attended the job fair, out of which 150 were shortlisted based on their resume and portfolios, knowledge about 3DsMax, Photoshop, after effects and maya software to fill the vacant positions in web designing, production, VFX and graphics. Top recruiting companies Xentrix Studios, Creative Visuals, Snipple Animation Studios, Symbios, Digital Comics, The Pixals, Kolors n Motion, Creative Mediapulse Technologies recruited the best talented professionals. The attendees also acquired some guidelines on how to draft a resume, preparation for an interview, job search methods etc from the recruitment experts.

Students from various cities like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Vijaywada, Kerala and Noida participated in the job fair. The participants were from the top institutes like Arena, MAAC, Manipal University, Image, Toonz, Shaft, Frame Box, Manual University, Ants, I Nurture, Aniframes and Picasso.

Commenting on the occasion, M. Shajan Samuel, Sr. Vice President, MAAC said, “Bangalore being a hub for animation, there are ample of jobs available in the industry here, for enthusiasts planning to step into the creative arenas. We organized the job fair to make available these opportunities to aspirants and help deserving candidates get a job. Last year only 4 lakh people out of 4 crore registered across 1,400 government run employment exchanges got placed, reiterating the axiom that over a period of time government run employment exchanges have lost its relevancy. MAAC would continue to host Job fairs with the intention of helping organizations recruit talent as well as provide opportunities for animation aspirants to get recruited.”
