The newly opened branch was formally inaugurated by Shri K. R. Shenoy, Executive Director, Vijaya Bank in the presence of Smt Kalpana Srivastava, I.A.S., Commissioner, Women Empowerment & Managing Director, Women Finance Development
Corporation who graced the occasion as Chief Guest. The Guest of Honor in the event was Sri Nishank Kumar Jain, Director, Vijaya Bank.
The Executive Director said that Vijaya bank will adopt a host of innovative methods to ensure inclusive growth for all with an increased focus on opening branches in semi-urban and rural areas.

Spearheading a business of over Rs. 1, 50,000 crore as on 31st December, 2012, the bank has been at the forefront in ushering a new era of growth and all round progress.
