Mr. D. Subramani, Member-Materials Management, Karnataka Antibiotics and Pharmaceutical Limited (KAPL), Government of India Enterprise was elected Chairman of the Institute at the AGM. Mr. Subramani brings on board a total of 27 years of experience in the fields of Industry and SCM.
In his acceptance speech the newly anointed Chairman stated that the Institute would continue to impact on the Advisory, Consulting and training functions in the field of purchase and materials management and would also ensure, quality education at affordable prices in the field of SCM. Mr. Subramani also announced that, the Institute would make all efforts to have a campus of its own in the near future with the help of the Government.
The Bangalore Chapter of The Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM), conducted elections of its office bearers for the year 2013-2015 and the Chairman and its office bearers were elected on 24th August 2013 in the Annual General body meeting.
