NASSCOM Product Conclave 2013 to focus on ‘Doers’ & drive India’s entrepreneurial ecosystem

 The National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) today announced that it will be conducting its 10th edition of the NASSCOM Product Conclave on October 29-30 at Taj Vivanta, Yeshwantpur, Bangalore. The two day conclave promises to engage, inspire, amaze, entertain and help provide valuable connections, and gain significant knowledge to be a power doer.

The NASSCOM Product Conclave 2013 – The Community meet-up of doers who share! –will provide a unique platform to interact with serial entrepreneurs, CXOs, VCs, angel investors, and customers that can help a start-up or business at any stage in its lifecycle. The conclave will take a different approach by placing the spotlight on real people that are breathing their startup every moment and are doing the business of entrepreneurship.

This edition of the NPC will bring together an amalgamation of some unique tracks to boost the growth of startups in India. The Sales and Marketing track, will lay emphasis on practical tips to generate buzz and PR for the startups. The Global track will provide assistance to start operations in a new geography, with legal, financial, and regulatory considerations.

The Mobility track will challenge startups to think beyond ads and downloads as the only mechanisms of app monetization. Cofounder agreements are a key part of the Early Stage track. This track has a great session for Product Managers and owners on why removing features from your product are a key part of your strategy. Finally, the Funding and Financing track will feature investors that are dominating the early stage funding scenario in India such as micro-angels, seed funds, and accelerators. Shark-tank will be the highlight of the conclave with a live funding event where investors will get to make a decision on funding a startup in less than 15 minutes.

In its 10th edition, NPC envisions a new path forward with key emphasis on practical learning and making it fun. This year’s event will help put a focus on in-person networking with potential speakers, fellow attendees, venture and angel investors, executives and early-stage founders.
