About Zen Sports and Fitness
Zen Sports and Fitness is a company dedicated to providing and promoting fitness and well being through martial arts. Established in 1998, the company has grown by leaps and bounds with martial art branches in Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, and Sri Lanka. The team of fitness experts at the company is headed by Sensei Prasad MG, six-time International karate champion and he has represented India for the 7th World Shito-Ryu Karate Championship held at Japan, during September 2013. At present, he also holds the post of President, Bangalore sports karate Association, affiliated to AKHILA KARNATAKA SPORTS KARATE ASSOCIATION recognized by the sports Authority of Karnataka
Under the banner of Zen Martial Arts Academy, karate has been an integral part of the company's fitness promotion efforts and our karate students have represented India and won awards in various international tournaments held in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Sri Lanka. Zen Martial Arts Academy is affiliated to Shuko-Kai International Karate -Do, Texas, USA and is a member of All India Karate Federation, which is recognized by the Government of India, Indian Olympics Association, World Karate Federation, and the International Olympic Committee.
