A doctor by profession and a social worker by choice N V Sudha Kiran, who is the son of P V Narasimha Rao’s eldest daughter Sharada Venkata Kishan Rao, now finds himself wielding the political wand as the Malkajgiri constituency AAP candidate. He says this is a continuation of his social service experience through Aam Aadmi Party’s manifesto. Kiran, says that his work for various social organisations and voluntary groups has motivated him to strive for the development of people. Having worked as a medical officer for Red Cross and NTR Trust, he is in a perfect position to understand the problems of masses.Having grown up in the city, Kiran feels that he can do justice to the people here.
After closely following the Anna Hazare-led ‘India against Corruption’ movement and the subsequent formation of AAP, Kiran was inspired by the work done by Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi.
“Kejriwal proved that people were yearningfor a change.” he says. Kiran opined that the people were vexed with ‘old parties’ and had pinned their hopes on AAP as their saviour from corrupt system.
