Students paint houses for (BPL) families
Students of Canadian International School, Bangalore had initiated a project "Brush of Kindness” today in association with an NGO called “Habitat for Humanity" 54 IB1 students (Grade 11) students along with their CAS Coordinator Ms. Priya Anand & and three staff members painted houses for the below poverty line (BPL) families in Bangalore in a village called Basavalingappa Nagar near Hegdenagar.

Students had raised funds for this project through a Walkathon that involved students from K-12. SCA members of the school also donated to the cause. Around Rs. 50,000 was collected from the secondary students and the SCA members and was donated to Habitat for the project.

Habitat for Humanity India is a non-profit organization that builds homes and provides housing-related services to low-income, marginalized families across India.
