Google announce Google Cloud Connect for Microsoft Office

Google announces worldwide availability of Google Cloud Connect for Microsoft Office and the launch of the 90-day Appsperience under the broader theme of collaboration.

Beginning today, anyone around the world can start using Google Cloud Connect for Microsoft Office. Cloud Connect provides users of Microsoft Office tools -- Word, Excel and Powerpoint -- in versions 2003, 2007 or 2010 with a bridge to using the Google cloud.

In addition, Google is also launching the 90-day Appsprience which allows businesses to test drive the collaboration aspects of Google Apps (Docs, Sites, etc.) with the assistance of one of our authorized reseller partners. As part of this Appsperience, businesses can also start measuring the impact of their productivity tools through the new Google Apps collaboration dashboard in the Google Apps control panel.
