Driven by the overwhelming response received for “The Star Drive” during the first phase conducted last year, Mercedes-Benz India flagged of the second phase of its signature driving experience program here at the E-Zone Club on Ring Road in Bangalore. This special extravaganza is specially conceptualized by Mercedes-Benz to highlight its unparallel safety features, and engineering technology and offers prospects and customers an opportunity to understand handling of critical road situations in a safe and controlled environment.
This unique drive experience put to test the power and performance of the participants and the Mercedes-Benz cars encompassing the ML-Class, GL-Class, C-Class and E-Class. New additions to this line up were some of the power packed AMGs: SL 63 AMG, C 63 AMG & the latest introduction: the iconic G 55 AMG. Through the simulations, the dynamics of the vehicle namely safety, agility and performance in off-road and on-road conditions are brought to the fore. The participants could experience the tangible benefits of key safety technologies like Pro-Engineering Package, AIRMATIC, etc. during the driving experience program.
Also on display was the global heartthrob that was introduced in India recently: the SLS AMG. The shining red SLS with its signature gullwing doors won hearts of the participants & media alike.
