Google's Eric E. Schmidt Will Be Featured Keynote at Kenexa 2011 World Conference

Kenexa (NASDAQ:KNXA), a global provider of business solutions for human resources, today announced that Google Executive Chairman Eric E. Schmidt will headline a lineup of leadership-focused keynote presentations during Kenexa’s upcoming 2011 World Conference, “The Conference of Grown-Up Dreams.” This year’s impressive keynote presenters will equip Kenexa World Conference attendees with the inspiration and insight needed to reach their business goals.

Since joining Google in 2001, Schmidt has helped grow the company from a Silicon Valley startup to a global leader in technology. As Executive Chairman, Schmidt is responsible for building Google’s partnerships and other business relationships, government outreach and technology thought leadership, and advising the current CEO and senior leadership on business and policy issues. As Google’s CEO, a role he held from 2001-2011, he oversaw Google’s technical and business strategy alongside founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, scaling the company’s infrastructure and diversifying product offerings while fostering a strong culture of innovation. Prior to joining Google, he held leadership roles at Novell and Sun Microsystems, Inc.

“Google’s transformational business strategies under Eric Schmidt’s leadership embody Kenexa’s principles. We’re very excited to have him join our list of influential keynote speakers at this year’s Kenexa World Conference,” commented Rudy Karsan, Chairman and CEO of Kenexa. “As always, our goal is to inspire attendees to break business conventions, test the waters of innovation and create innovative best practices that will propel their organizations to new levels of success.”

Schmidt joins a list of internationally renowned speakers who have created new possibilities with their leadership strategies and transformed ‘business as usual’ – including Billy Beane, vice president and general manager of the Oakland A’s, and Mike Abrashoff, former Navy commander and author of “It’s Your Ship.”  Beane and Abrashoff will also share their experiences with inventive management methods, and tell how they motivated their respective organizations to levels of success that very few ever believed attainable.

Those interested in attending “The Conference for Grown-Up Dreams” are encouraged to register early as extended discount conference rates expire on June 15, 2011.  This year’s conference will be held at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla. on October 11 and 12, 2011, and include a full agenda of breakout sessions led by industry experts, keynote presentations, entertainment and special events.
