Police has registered an FIR against Keshan Trading Corporation for using Surya Brand. These pipes were produced by fraud and violation of Trademark Act by Krishna Iron Strips and Tubes Pvt. Ltd., Raipur. Owner Mr. Vikash Keshan has been arrested by Gandhi Nagar Police (Hyderabad).
Both the above have connived the consumers by making duplicate Prakash Surya Pipe with substandard / Patra material using substandard Zinc coating and spoiling the brand name of Prakash Surya Steel Pipe.
The above person has been arrested and already put behind the bars. This violation will attract huge penalties and jail punishment. Material worth many lac of rupees have been seized by the police in this case of fraud, cheating and doing harm to the public in general and consumers in particular. These substandard pipes life is 10% of the standard BIS pipes use by Prakash Surya steel pipe brand.
