Vijaya Bank, the Bangalore based Public Sector Bank launched their product V-Mobile Money under the Instant Interbank Mobile Payment Service of National Payments Corporation of India. The product offers the customers the facility of instantaneous receipt or remittance of funds in accounts across Banks.
Inaugurating the facility at a function held today at the Bank’s Head Office in Bangalore, Sri H.S. Upendra Kamath, Chairman & Managing Director, Vijaya Bank said that the launch of V-Mobile Money facility offers immense scope to enhance value addition to the customers as well as opportunities for the optimum use of the Bank’s technology capabilities. More than 8 million customers across 1200 pan India CBS networked branches will benefit from this facility, he informed. The launch of this facility is a part of series of measures that Bank has been initiating for offering the latest and best in technology for the customers, he added.
Also speaking on the occasion Smt. Shubhalakshmi Panse, Executive Director, Vijaya Bank, said that the launch of the Instant Interbank Mobile Payment Service by Vijaya Bank under their brand name V-Mobile Money is yet another progressive milestone for the Bank in its quest for providing value based services to the customers.
