The Smart Grid Maturity Model (SGMM) evolved by SEI helps Utilities objectively assess their state of Smart Grid readiness by arriving at a score through a series of workshops and audits conducted by trained navigators. Subsequently, Utilities go through a process of reengineering their business processes, upgrade and modify their Information Technology and Operational Technology (OT) systems and align data supporting these systems.
