There will be 20award categories which will be adjudged by an eminent jury panel comprising of stalwarts from the Kannada music industry like Rajan-Nagendra(music director), V Manohar – (music director) and ManjulaGururaj(playback singer). There are also a few categories which will be judged by the audience to ensure transparency and fair play as the power to vote rests with the audiences.
Sandal wood super star Ramesh Arvind will be the event ambassador for the music awards
