All the top 25 finalists of Miss Hyderabad 2012 presented by Kalamandir and powered by Uninor reaffirmed their commitment for environment with active participation in the event.
Flagged off at Jalavihar, Green Ride had the beauty pageant contestants pedalling down with a message on going green and saving mother nature from growing threats of pollution.
The event generated lot of enthusiasm in the city and several young enthusiasts joined and cycled along expressing their solidarity for the campaign. Green Brigade Org, a NGO working in the areas of environmental related awareness programmes was part of this initiative.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Sudhish Rambhotla said, Beautiful women took up the cause and strongly drove the point of preserving nature and environment, through this bicycle ride. It’s heartening to note that these young girls have proven that they are not only beautiful but also responsible youngsters, who are an inspiration to all our youth.
