Shri. H.S. Upendra Kamath, Chairman & Managing Director, Vijaya Bank received the Global HR Excellence Award for ‘Organization with innovative HR practices’. The Global HR excellence award was hosted by the Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE). The global excellence awards are presented to individuals and organizations, which have surpassed levels of excellence and have set an example by being a role model and a leader.
The second award, ‘Caring Company Award’ was conferred by World CSR Congress for Vijaya Banks Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. It was also received by Shri. H.S. Upendra Kamath, Chairman & Managing Director, Vijaya Bank. This award recognizes organizations which demonstrate good corporate citizenship and is specifically geared to encourage strategic partnerships among businesses and non-profit organizations to create a more cohesive society.
Both the above awards consisted of a trophy and citation. The aim of these awards is to recognize the best and to honor them.
