The run is relay formatted where teams comprised of 4 members each, compete for the title of the fastest corporate running team. The run is aimed at encouraging amateurs and seasoned runners alike to take part in a sport that is as enjoyable and fulfilling as it is beneficial.
At the announcement event, Yuvraj Singh, brand ambassador for PUMA India opened the registrations for the marathon and unveiled the ‘Winner’ t-shirt for the run. The meet also saw a funrace between Yuvraj’s team, the PUMA team and an impromptu team of media professionals.

First unleashed in 2008, this fun run has witnessed an exponential rise in participation over the years and this year the Urban Stampede is scaled up to include Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Goa.
