State Bank of Mysore opened its 761st Branch at DAVANGERE UNIVERSITY CAMPUS on 1st March 2013 at the university campus Shivagangthri, Tholahunase. The new branch was inaugurated by Dr.(Smt) S Indumathi, the Vice Chancellor of Davangere University and presided over by Shri Subhabratha Ray, General Manager, State Bank of Mysore. Speaking on the occasion, the Vice Chancellor stated that State Bank of Mysore has been extending qualitative service with the latest technologies to the customers and wished that the new branch also caters to the needs of the general public in around the university campus especially the rural people. Shri Subhabrath Ray, the General Manager, State Bank of Mysore,. has assured that the services of the Bank will be extended to all the customers and wished that the customers to avail the internet banking and mobile banking facilities.
The function was graced by Prof. Madaiah, former Vice Chancellor of University of Mysore, Shri D S Prakash, the Registrar, Prof. Bakkesh, Registrar (Evaluation), Shri Srinivas, Finance Officer, and other officers of Davangere University apart from Shri V P Ravaindra Kumar, Deputy General Manager, State Bank of Mysore, Hubli Zone, and Shri Govind Nettar, Asst General Manager, State Bank of Mysore, Davangere Region.
