Accor Hotels launches an innovative competition for students in hospitality training in Hyderabad

Accor Hotels one of the largest hotel operator in the region, started a competition for hospitality schools and hotel management university students throughout the region. The unique contest is planned to encourage the students to focus on a real Accor case study with a focus “Reinvent Novotel Hotels”.

As a part of the program The HR & Training Team of Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre & Novotel Hyderabad Airport will be visiting colleges like IHM-Hyd, IHM Shri Shakti and Culinary Academy of India to present and launch the Take-off project with the students in Third year.  Novotel team will be spending a day out with colleges, students and doing rounds to strengthen Student-Accor relationship. The students will also get a chance to visit the Novotel properties in Hyderabad to understand the current hotel experience.

This competition is a great way to provide students with exposure to Accor while helping us identify the true potential in the industry,”

The contest which will begin from 16th September 2013 will have 3 rounds under which students will be judged on their creativity, approach and innovation. Only the first 300 student teams which will apply will qualify for the contest. The contest will end on November 27th 2013 with the selection of the final team by Accor’s Asia Pacific leaders. The contest is run on annual basis by Accor but this year’s edition is particularly focused on the Asia Pacific Region. The first edition was launched by the Accor Group in 2012.
