Andreas Henneberg visits Bangalore on his Mountain World Tour

Andreas Henneberg visits Bangalore on his Mountain World Tour
Andreas Henneberg is Sanctum Club's biggest, most expensive gig for the season. Simply because Sanctum is known for their superb taste in non commercial electronic music, an extension of the absolute passion shared by the partners that have set up Sanctum Club. They travel extensively and are constantly scooping out the best electronic music available globally to bring to Bangalore city.

Andreas Henneberg has been selected as their star gig for the season, as he is globally recognized for his impeccable electronic inventions. With over 15 years of experience in the industry, he is known to be one of the most productive individuals in the electronic music scene since the 90s, be it as a DJ, label owner or mastering engineer (often referred to as the icing on the cake in the music industry, as mastering engineers make the final touches to a track before it is released, also ensuring it sounds great on all media.)

Andreas Henneberg will play for the first time in India at Sanctum, as part of his Mountain World Tour, that has taken him to numerous destinations across the globe, from Switzerland, to France, Brazil, Croatia and many more.

Mountain is his first solo album, as he wishes to compile all his experiences and inspirations over the years, in one album that will take his fans on a journey of electronica through his head, not abiding by one “boring genre” in his words. The album moves from House to Tech House, to Groovy, to Heavy Dance. The celebrated artist also admits to having put aside his album for almost 3 months at a time, in order to come back to it in a more objective fashion.

He also found that during wintertime, when part of the album was being recorded, his tracks took on a different character, also influenced by the end of his 13-year relationship with his girlfriend at the time.

His experience at the very popular global Fusion festival in Germany also influenced a few changes to his dance floor tracks. He often found himself sitting by the lake, or playing the bass guitar or the drums, during the times he felt the need for additional reflection and inspiration.

His favorite track Haifa was shot in Israel, along with two of his Israeli friends. He is also very proud to have Fabian lend his unique voice to a few of his electronic tracks.

Andreas Henneberg also releases music under Voltage Music Label that has enjoyed over 10 years of great success and acclaim. The Glitz and Cascandy, are also names under which he releases music, each having a separate flavor and unique identity.

Andreas Henneberg records his groundbreaking electronic music at his studio loft  build in 1902, in South of Berlin.
