SAP (NYSE: SAP) today felicitated 37 Indian enterprises with the SAP ACE Award, the most coveted customer focused award for achieving business excellence through use of technology. The awards were presented at the seventh SAP ACE Award ceremony held at Hotel Hyatt Regency in Mumbai, India. SAP also gave special recognition awards to customers using SAP solutions in an innovative way and customers to highlight their achievements attained with the power of cloud technology.

SAP ACE received the largest number of project nominations, a total of 171 nominations across 16 different categories.
As part of the diligent and impartial process, the assessment involved thorough evaluation of front running nominees by an eminent jury. The jury panel included VS Parthasarathy, Group CIO, EVP – Group Mergers & Acquisitions, Finance & Accounts, Member of the Group Executive Board., Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, Manish Bahl, VP and Country Manager for Forrester Research India,Venkatesh Natarajan, Special Director (Information Technology) at Ashok Leyland Ltd, Manish Choksi, President - Home Improvement, Supply Chain & IT at Asian Paints Ltd, Prof. M.P. Gupta, Professor - IIT Delhi; Area Chair of Information Systems & also Coordinator-Center for Excellence in E-gov at IIT Delhi; Member of expert committee of Prasar Bharti
The SAP Best Run award category for SAP implementation received maximum nominations, followed by Best Run Award in IT and Manufacturing besides others.
