20 STUDENT GENIUSES MAY GET THE OPPORTUNITY TO REPRESENT INDIA IN LOS ANGELES AT ISEF 2014
20 of India’s next generation innovators may represent India at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF) in May 2014 at Los Angeles. Chosen from across 2000 project entries in 17 categories submitted this year by students from 51 cities across the country, these students were felicitated by Prof. H.P. Khincha, Chairman – State Innovation Council, Karnataka, Ms Kumud Srinivasan, President-Intel India, and Dr. D.K. Pandey, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India at the Initiative for Research & Innovation in Science (IRIS) 2013. After going through a series of coaching camps, those selected post the camps will represent India at the Intel ISEF in Los Angeles, USA.

With 4 national level mega-fairs - National Children Science Congress (NCSC), Science Fair by National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), Jawaharlal Nehru Science Fair by National Council of Educational Research & Training (NCERT) and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Science Exhibition affiliating to IRIS, it has emerged the largest research-based science fair in India this year reaching out to more than 3 million students.
