Calcutta Polo Club, the oldest polo club in the World is hosting the "Arena Polo Weekend Trophy for Amateurs", where four teams with two players each will battle for the trophy, presented by BFL Corporation, the renowned Agriculture, Real Estate and Media Company. The participants include the upcoming and budding teenagers of Calcutta Polo Club. The tournament starts at 3 pm in presence of eminent celebrities of Kolkata.
"We have recently introduced a comprehensive training module for the youth to learn the king of games and game of kings. Arena Polo Weekend is the first arena polo format in Kolkata. The idea is to ensure the future of the Royal Sport by adding more and more players and viewers. Creating Polo enthusiasts is our motto. For those who wish to play, we are here to make a way", says Amrita Bangur, Committee Member.
