Vijaya Bank organized a function to pay tribute to the founder of the Bank – Late Sri A.B. Shetty. which was attended by a large number of executives,officers and all cadre of employees. Leaders from all trade unions also witnessed the occasion and paid their tribute and expressed indebtedness towards the founder. Addressing the holy gathering Sri H S Upendra Kamath – Chairman & Managing Director of the bank detailed the persona of the founder and requested all to derive inspiration. He said – the real tribute to our founder would be to follow his path, work with greater zeal & commitment & redouble efforts to take the bank to greater height. Sri K R Shenoy – Executive director also addressed and appealed all present there to work together with reflexive hand-holding and ensure to scale up the performance of the bank. Vote of thanks was proposed by Sri Nageshwar Rao, General Manager.
