McDonald's employee resources site has warned its own employees against eating 'unhealthy' fast foods. It displayed several posts that bashed fast foods, including a cheeseburger and fries as an “unhealthy choice".
"While convenient and economical for a busy lifestyle, fast foods are typically high in calories, fat, saturated fat, sugar, and salt and may put people at risk for becoming overweight," the site said.
Later McDonald’s has taken down its employee resources website after what it deemed “unwarranted scrutiny and inappropriate commentary.”
